Akal Takht Jathedar strongly Condemns Withdrawal of Security from Sant Baba Ghalla Singh ; Asks Government to Restore It Immediately
AMRITSAR: Acting Jathedar Akal Takht Giani Kuldeep Singh Gargajj has strongly condemned the withdrawal of security from the highly revered Sant Baba Ghalla Singh of the Nanaksar Samparda, the Acting and said that this action by the government is wrong, especially in view of the deteriorating law-and-order situation in the state.
He said that the Nanaksar Samparda has been playing an important role in the propagation and promotion of Sikhi and that Sant Baba Ghalla Singh Ji had been provided security for a long time, which has now been withdrawn recently.
He added that the incidents of violence being witnessed in Punjab today do not reflect the true character of Punjab; rather, Punjab has always conveyed the message of Sarbat da Bhala (welfare of all) to the entire world.
