Eminent scholars attend national workshop at RBU

MOHALI: University School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Rayat Bahra University organized a two-day national conference sponsored by Spar on “How to Isolate the Bioactive Molecule from Plant Drug”.

The conference brought together leading experts, researchers, and professionals in the field to discuss and exchange ideas on Isolation of bioactive molecules from plant drugs. The workshop aimed to provide valuable insights and practical knowledge on the process of isolating bioactive compounds from medicinal plants.

Dean of the Department Dr Anju Goyal welcomed the delegates and guests. Chancellor of Rayat Bahra University Gurvinder Singh Bahra, and Vice-Chancellor Dr Parvinder Singh, lighted the ceremonial lamp to mark inauguration of the conference in the presence of Chief Guest Dr AN Kalia, Dr Suresh Kumar, Associated Professor and Dr Upendra Nagaich, Founder and CEO of SPER Market Research Private Limited.
Dr Upendra Nagaich interacted with the students and shared the mantra of success in life overcoming all the challenges.

The University School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Rayat Bahra University, and Spar signed a MOU to provide an enriching experience for participants interested in the field of pharmaceuticals and research.

Dean of the Department Dr. Anju Goyal said the workshop featured expert speakers, hands-on demonstrations, and interactive sessions focused on the techniques and methodologies involved in extracting bioactive molecules from plant sources.

Dr Rajni Bala Professor USPS, RBU and co-convener of the National Workshop, proposed a vote of thanks.
