CHANDIGARH: In a significant move to empower the youth, the Cheema Boilers Limited (CBL) and Regional Centre for Entrepreneurship Development (RCED- training partner NSDC- signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on July 5. The MoU was signed by Mr. Harsimran Singh Cheema, Director, CBL and Mr. Paramjit Singh, Director, RCED.

The signing ceremony was witnessed by Mr. R.K. Singh Cheema, and Mr Pankaj, from CBL, alongside Mr. Vijay Arora, General Manager, and Mr. Gurwinder Singh, Senior Project Officer from RCED.

This collaboration aims to provide comprehensive skill development with 100 per cent placement rate, focusing on technical training in welding. The training programs offered include Arc Welding, Tig Welding, and Mig Welding. Training sessions will be held at CBL Kurali location, equipped with state-of-the-art machinery. The program integrates theoretical knowledge, practical application, and on-the-job training to ensure holistic skill enhancement.

By leveraging the strengths and resources of both organizations, this initiative seeks to foster inclusive growth, economic empowerment, and sustainable employment opportunities for the youth. This partnership marks a pivotal step towards building a skilled and empowered workforce for the future.
