MOHALI: In a notable recognition of his expertise and contributions to education, Dr. Parvinder Singh, Vice-Chancellor of Rayat Bahra University, was invited to share his insights on 'Transformative Education for Sustainable Future' at the Bharat Gyan Samagam 2024 held in Roorkee.

The event witnessed the participation of over 65 Vice-Chancellors and 500 principals from more than 20 states, underscoring its significance in the academic community. Lieutenant General (Retd) Gurmit Singh, the Governor of Uttarakhand, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.

Dr. Parvinder Singh, a distinguished scholar and administrator, served in various capacities at Panjab University, Chandigarh, including as the Controller of Examinations, before assuming the role of Vice-Chancellor at Rayat Bahra University.The Vice-Chancellor shared his valuable insights on the imperative of 'Transformative Education for a Sustainable Future,' highlighting the pivotal role education plays in shaping

a sustainable and progressive society.In recognition of his outstanding contributions, Dr. Parvinder Singh was honored with an appreciation citation during the event. This accolade serves as a testament to his commitment to advancing education and fostering excellence in the academic domain.
