New academic session to start at Rayat Bahra University on Aug 21

MOHALI: The new academic session at Rayat Bahra University would start from August 21 when orientation programmes for the first-year students of different schools of the University would commence.

Gurvinder Singh Bahra, Chancellor of the university, said most of the students join the university directly after +2 and and to acclimatize them with the new environment orientation program which helped them to prepare for a successful career with a clear vision. They become aware of what lies in front of them as they step out in the competitive world on the successful completion of the course. Keeping this in mind this year also orientation programmes are scheduled to be conducted.

Bahra, who is also Chairman of the Rayat Bahra Group of Institutions, said that the University had already introduced a large number of new age courses in collaboration with top multinational companies to increase the employment potential of the students. The University, one of the best in this part of the country, besides offering attractive scholarship schemes, had the highest placement record and had ultramodern facilities.

Bahra said that the Rayat Bahra University is synonymous with quality education and it has managed to create a brand name which stands for exceptional faculty strength and full-fledged infrastructure facilities.

Dr Parvinder Singh, Vice-Chancellor, said the university had signed MoUs with several renowned companies to ensure good placements for the passing out students.

He said Rayat Bahra Group of Institutions has carved an enviable niche for itself in the world of academics with unique new-age programs, excellent placements in top companies and scholarships and freeships to deserving and meritorious students.

The Group has touched dazzling heights and built a standing both at the national and international levels offering new courses and making available quality education with international tie-ups, the Vice-Chancellor added.
