POLICE INVESTIGATION MATTER

PHAGWARA:On a complaint lodged by Smt Sonia resident of Bhagatpura locality in Phagwara the police have registered a case under section 363/366 IPC against unknown person on the charges of abducting the young daughter of the complainant in the pretext of marrying her daughter. The girl is missing since October 10. The Police are investigating the matter.

ILLICIT LIQUOR:The Police have arrested a liquor smuggler identified as Miyank resident of Pehchan Nagar and recovered  47 bottles of illicit liquor from his possession last night. A case under Excise Act has been registered.

BURGLARI:A Sanitary Shop was reportedly burgled at Phagwara-Palahai Road last night. The Shop Owner Vikrant Anand resident of Jalandhar told that the burglars entered in his shop after breaking the locks and took away valuable sanitary goods worth around Rs one Lac besides a cash of Rs 5,000/-.The Police have registered a case under section 457/380 IPC.
