Reddy and Walia elected MCA president and secretary

CHANDIGARH: D.P Reddy and GS Walia were unanimously elected president and secretary, respectively, at the annual general meeting of the Mohali Cricket Association held in PCA Stadium Mohali. Vishwajit Khanna will be the patron-in-chief.

B.K. Uppal, Gurkirat Kirpal Singh and P.S Gill are the vice-presidents.Kailash Chander is joint secretary while Arun Sharma will discharge the duties of the treasurer.

Founder President D.P Reddy informed that the association has kept a budget of Rs. 10.5 lakh for playing practice matches for all age groups during December 2021 to February. 2022. He further informed that the association will go all out to have a five -acre plot on long lease to enable the Association to play practice matches.

A small pavilion with all facilities will be constructed over there. This was an exceptional year for the association as it is champion for U-19 one-day tournaments. Further the Mohali team is runners-up in U-25 category.
