Unique job campaign at TCY in Ludhiana

LUDHIANA : Ludhiana’s Top Careers & You (TCY), a pioneer in supplemental education in the country, recently celebrated success of its unique campaign “MYOT - Make Your Own Team” and rewarded its team-members for their great contribution and successful completion of the campaign.

The advent of E-Tutoring in the city has introduced a new job market for students currently pursuing their studies as well as fresh college pass-outs. Existing team-members have a lot of success-stories to tell as to how working with the company has helped them boost their self-confidence and financial independence through part-time and full-time jobs.

As E-Tutoring deals with teaching international students by sitting in India, it does not only give tutors an international exposure but also ample opportunities to hone their creative skills. At the same time it helps them understand the professional work culture and career growth of the company. So, in a way it’s a great on-job learning experience for a fresher.

It may be noted that the MYOT is such a creative initiative by TCY wherein team-members bring their friends to be part of the team so that everyone enjoys the company of their friends while working. It is felt that employees feel more comfortable when they work along with their friends. Keeping this in mind, TCY encourages such a work culture and rewards employees who contribute enthusiastically towards this team-building event.
Prizes of MYOT included a cash prize for top three contributors, a hat-trick by a team member, 7 or more selections in a week by a team member and team-prize for maximum selections by a team.

The winners for top 3 prizes were Harneet Singh, Atul Kumar and Manpreet Kaur, respectively. Atul Kumar scored a hat-trick twice and Harneet bagged the prize for 7 or more selections in a week. The Team Prize was won by Harneet’s team.

It may be recalled that TCY started E-tutoring about eight years ago with a small team of five members and since then it has seen a huge growth in terms of business and team size.
