Summer vacations in all government,Private,Aided and Affiliated schools from June 1

CHANDIGARH : The Punjab Government has announced summer vacations in all the government, private, aided and affiliated schools from June 1 to June 30, 2016. Schools would be re opened on July 1. It was disclosed an Official spokesperson in a press communiqué released here today.

The spokesperson said that summer vacations have been announced for all primary, middle, high and senior secondary schools. During vacations non teaching staff of the schools would remain on duty. Instructions have also been issued for all the school heads to remain in contact over mobile/telephone in view of ongoing process of promotions, posting of new recruited teachers and transfers of teaching cadre.

He said that school heads also been instructed to ensure that the students would not face any difficulty in getting character certificates and teachers also must not face any hurdle for joining and relieving.
