School timings changed in Punjab owing to inclement weather
CHANDIGARH: The Education Department, Punjab, has changed timings of the Government, Aided and Private schools in the State owing to the inclement weather and foggy conditions. The changed timings would take effect from 24th December, 2019 and would be in force till 15th January, 2020.

Disclosing this here today, an official spokesman said that the timings of the Primary schools would be from 10 AM-3 PM while those of the Middle/High/Senior Secondary schools would be from 10 AM-4 PM. The timings of the schools having double shifts would remain the same.
The government has already announced winter holidays from Dec.25 to 31 which means new timings will be effective from January 1st, 2010.
