CHANDIGARH: On the call of Punjab Federation of University and College Teachers Organizations (PFUCTO) university and college teachers of Punjab and Chandigarh will hold a state level rally at Panjab University, Chandigarh today.
The protest rally is part of the nationwide protests being organized under the banner of All-India Federation of University and College Teachers Organizations (AIFUCTO). Teachers are demanding constitution of UGC Pay Review committee, scraping of API, Resolution of Ph.D/NET issues and regular appointments instead of contractual appointments.
