The team of a documentary film being made on the massacre of Sikhs in Chit Singh pura paid obeisance at Sri Darbar Sahib

AMRITSAR: The director of the documentary film being made on the massacre of 35 Sikhs in March 2000 in Chatti Singhpura, Jammu and Kashmir, along with his team, paid obeisance at Sachkhand Sri Harmandir Sahib here today.

On this occasion, he sought information about the help and services provided by the Shiromani Gurdwara parbandhak Committee to the victim families.

Director Rajesh Raja, Suman Talwar, PC Raut, S. M. P. Singh and Hans Hira were honored by Shiromani Committee member Bhai Gurcharan Singh Grewal with religious books information office.

Speaking in this regard, Shiromani Committee member Bhai Gurcharan Singh Grewal said that in the year 2000, a big tragedy took place in Chit Singhpura of Jammu and Kashmir, in which 35 Sikhs were killed.

In this regard, Mr. Rajesh Raja and his team have a plan to prepare a documentary film, under which they have approached the Shiromani Committee for details of the work done to help the victims.

He said that the Shiromani Committee considered it its duty to help the victim families and also provided them with all possible assistance during the crisis.

On this occasion, Information Officer Randhir Singh, Jatinderpal Singh and others were present.
