A Jatha of 500 Sikhs to reach Badal's house every month, says Damdami Taksal head Harnam Singh Khalsa
AMRITSAR: Giving an ultimatum to the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee till May 10 for the reinstatement of the removed Jathedars of the three Takht Sahibans, in case this is not done, starting from June 11, a group of 500 Gursikhs will reach Badal village on the first Sunday of every month and chant Gurbani at the residence of Akali Dal President Sukhbir Singh Badal.

This decision was taken in a meeting of selected eminent persons of Sant Samaj, who preach Gurmat Siddhant, led by Sant Giani Harnam Singh Khalsa, President of Sant Samaj and Head of Damdami Taksal, held at the headquarters of Damdami Taksal, Gurdwara Gurdarshan Prakash Mehta Chowk.

On this occasion, all the eminent persons, Sikh Sangats and organizations present strongly criticized and expressed great protest against the non-fulfillment of the assurance given by the Shiromani Committee to the Sant Samaj of reinstating the Jathedars of the Takhts by April 15. This assurance was given by the Shiromani Committee during the protest dharna given by the Sant Samaj at Teja Singh Samundri Hall Amritsar Sahib on March 28, while the Sangat had demanded that the Jathedars of the Takhts, Giani Raghbir Singh, Giani Sultan Singh and Giani Harpreet Singh , be reinstated to their positions. In this regard, he had given time till April 15 to the President of the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee and the Executive Committee of the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee.

Sant Giani Harnam Singh Khalsa, President of Sant Samaj and Head of Damdami Taksal, said that the Sangat will arrange water, food and seating for the groups participating in the protest in Badal village. Due to the Ghallughara celebrations in June, the first group will go to Badal village on June 11, while from July onwards, the group will go on the first Sunday of every month.

On this occasion, an appeal was also made to all the Sangat to completely boycott Bhai Kuldeep Singh Gargajj and Baba Tek Singh Dhanaula, who were appointed as 'Jathedars' with the disagreement of the rules, Panthic traditions and the Panth.

He said that in order to satisfy the arrogance and stubbornness of a particular individual. The Panthic gathering held at Sri Anandpur Sahib to destroy Sikh principles has already rejected these appointments. Along with this, any Shiromani Committee member or office bearer who brings these 'Jathedars' to Sangats or events should also be completely boycotted. .
