All wings of Chandigarh state unit of All India Jatt Mahasabha dissolved: Rajinder Singh Badheri

CHANDIGARH: The President of the Chandigarh Pradesh unit of the All India Jatt Mahasabha and National Delegate of the Mahasabha. S. Rajinder Singh Badheri informed today that all the state units of the Mahasabha belonging to Chandigarh and all the wings like Women's Wing and Chandigarh Rural Wing, Youth Wing have been disbanded. In a statement issued here today,

Mr. Badheri said that such a step was being taken to bring a new generation forward to breathe new life into the Jatt Mahasabha. Active farmer leaders with a good working Jatt community will be taken care of.

Mr. Badheri said that the new leadership would actively participate in the peasant movement. He said that Chandigarh unit of All India Jatt Mahasabha would extend its support to Punjab state unit.

Mr. Badheri also said that the decision to dissolve the Chandigarh state unit had been taken on the advice of National General Secretary of the Mahasabha Chaudhary Yudhvir Singh who is also the spokesperson of Kisan Morcha. New units will be announced soon.
