CGC Jhanjeri campus provided excellent opportunities for young entrepreneurs to launch start-ups

MOHALI: Jhanjeri Campus of Chandigarh Group of Colleges organized a Venture Nest Vault under the auspices of Business Incubator Association to foster innovative thinking and forward-looking business planning among the youth.

The objective of this initiative was to provide a successful platform to the talented young students to launch new start-ups while encouraging their dreams of becoming successful entrepreneurs through a dynamic platform. In this event of efficient thinking, about sixty start-ups from eighteen states presented their visionary ideas in front of twenty national and international investors. A funding target of twelve crores was set by these investors for the respective start-ups. The chief guest of this event was the Honorable Speaker of the Punjab Vidhan Sabha, Kultar Singh Sandhawan.

Speaker Sandhwa while recommending this initiative said that this initiative taken by Jhanjeri Campus is an exclusive initiative taken in this region. Through which not only students will be self-employed but they will also provide employment opportunities to other young boys and girls of Punjab. Speaker Sandhwa congratulated Chairman Rashpal Singh Dhaliwal for his valuable contribution in the field of (Sikhs) and appreciated the efforts of practical managers and engineers being prepared by Jhanjeri Campus. Along with this, Dr. JK Sharma, Chairman, Start Up and Entrepreneurship Forum, Vivek Kapoor, Vice Chairman, CII Mohali Zone, Rakesh Kumar Verma, Additional Director, STPI Mohali, Sukhman Mann, EGSD TO, Employment Generation and Training Department, Government of Punjab, along with many other prominent personalities from the educaton world and industry were present.

CGC Chairman Rachpal Singh Dhaliwal welcomed all the guests and shared the information about the efforts being made by Jhanjeri Campus for the bright future of the youth. Chairman Dhaliwal said that every year the best selection of its students is conducted by international companies including Google, Microsoft. The students are encouraged to start self employment. This initiative is a part of the same link in which around sixty start-ups will be able to start new venture with funding of twelve crores. These start-ups, full of potential, span fields as diverse as technology, healthcare, sustainability, and social innovation. Each pitch embodies not just a business idea, but a far-sighted vision to solve real-world challenges and create lasting impact.

Meanwhile, other famous speakers on the stage also impressed the hundreds of youths present on the occasion with the best information including their successful autobiography. In which Shakti Wearables Managing Director Dr. Sristi shares her journey In which she shared India's first all-in-one women's safety bangle technology and her successful start-up of palace empowerment. Along with this, Sudhir Kumar Chauhan, Country Collection Manager of HPE India and successful businessman Manraj Singh shared the ways to successfully navigate the complex business environment. After that, one by one, the students shared their successful start-up ideas with the investors. After a long discussion, these ideas were adopted by the investors.
