KAPURTHALA: To save the villages from Corona, the Punjab Government under 'Mission Fateh-2' is continuing the testing and awareness campaign in the rural areas at full speed.

CHANDIGARH: During first two days of Mission Fateh-2.0, the Punjab Government’s initiative to make villages Corona free, 6.3 lakh households have been surveyed by the ASHA (Accredited Social Health Activist) covering the population of 17.7 lakh.

NAWANSHAHR: Under the direction of Deputy Commissioner Dr. Shena Aggarwal, the Health Department has launched Mission Fateh-2 Corona Free Village Campaign with the objective of conducting saplings on a large scale in rural areas in the district.

CHANDIGARH: With aim to conduct the sampling/testing at large level in rural areas, the Captain Amarinder Singh led Punjab Government has launched Mission Fateh 2.

PATIALA: Responding positively to the call given by the District Police, Patiala through local VPOs (Village Police Officers) and SHOs, as many as 398 village panchayats and 70 ward councillors have passed resolutions to join hands with the district administration in their fight against covid. The resolutions particularly mentioned the covid appropriate behaviour, particularly the wearing of masks and maintaining social distance.

CHANDIGARH: Health & Family Welfare Minister, Punjab Mr Balbir Singh Sidhu here on Tuesday flagged-off 4 LED Vans under the Mission Fateh in view of creating awareness regarding COVID-19.

CHANDIGARH: Health and Family Welfare Minister, Punjab Mr Balbir Singh Sidhu flagged off 22 IEC awareness vans under the Mission Fateh.Speaking at the occasion, Mr Sidhu said that these vans would visit in the urban and high-risk areas of Punjab to aware the public about Coronavirus and other diseases. COVID-19 tests will also be conducted during this campaign. These vans are equipped with Print material and Audio-Visual material.

NAWANSHAHR:Self Safety Slogan Awareness Drive, to fight Covid 19 in SBS Nagar today a noble cause initiated by Sewa Sankalp Society through its Vice President Advocate Harpreet Sandhu. Senior Superintendent of Police, SBS Nagar Alka Meena, IPS along with Harpreet Sandhu, Advocate and Police officials of SBS Nagar (Nawanshahr) launched Self Safety Slogan Brochures depicting the safety Slogan, ““ਮਾਸਕ ਪਾ ਕੇ ਰੱਖੋ ਜੀ ਮਹਾਂਮਾਰੀ ਤੋਂ ਬਚੋ ਜੀ” to emphasize the importance of wearing mask during the ongoing Covid era.   

CHANDIGARH: Going ahead with strategy to control the spread of COVID-19, Health department Ludhiana has now initiated a mobile testing drive in the Ludhiana city for which exclusive vans with special teams have been arranged which will test the people at their doorstep in different areas of the city. With introduction of these mobile teams people can get themselves tested right at their doorstep.

CHANDIGARH: Punjab Civil Services (PCS) Officers Association has passed a resolution that COVID-19 conquerors PCS officers would donate the plasma to boost the recovery of critical patients under Mission Fateh. In a letter  to Punjab Chief Secretary Ms. Vini Mahajan, the association has named the officers, who recovered from the infection and willing to donate the plasma.

CHANDIGARH:Under Mission Fateh, the Department of Medical Education and Research is taking steps to combat COVID-19 through specialized training of medical colleges, district hospitals and front line workers , working at the grass root level by adopting the latest approach instead of traditional methods.

KAPURTHALA:To honor the best contributors to the 'Mission Fateh' launched by the Punjab Government to win the war against Kovid-19, a 'Mission Fateh' Yodha 'competition has been launched on the Kova app, in which the residents of Kapurthala have shown good performance.

JALANDHAR:Tightening the noose around the people who were not wearing the masks and violating the directives of Punjab Government, the Jalandhar Commissionerate Police has so far issued 14340 challans to them, under the 'Mission Fateh' initiated by Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh and imposed a fine of Rs 65.15 lakh on willful defaulters.
Divulging the details, the Commissioner of Police Mr. Gurpreet Singh Bhullar said that the Police have so far issued 14940 without mask challans and collected a fine worth Rs 65.15 lakh from the violators.

PHAGWARA:Under the 'Mission Fateh' launched by the Punjab government to create awareness among the people against the Corona epidemicl. As part of the activities being carried out in the district in collaboration with SDM Phagwara Pavitar Singh, a massive awareness campaign was launched by the Sarb Naujwan Sabha today under the leadership of Sukhwinder Singh, President of the Sabha. Meanwhile, the Sabha visited Sahni, Dhandoli, Dhadde in Gobindpura, Nangal Colony and various villages of Phagwara block and made the people aware about the precautions of Kovid-19.

PHILLAUR: As part of ‘Mission Fateh’ program launched by the Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh, the district administration has conducted 23705 throat swab tests so far.

CHANDIGARH: Around 4000 posts of para medical staff including doctors would soon be filled by September, 2020 to accomplish 'Mission Fateh' war waged by the Chief Minister Capt. Amarinder Singh against COVID-19 in Punjab. It was disclosed by Health & Family Welfare and Labour Minister Mr. Balbir Singh Sidhu in press release.

CHANDIGARH:Department of Water Supply and Sanitation has initiated emergency measures to ramp up infrastructure facilities to handle patients, in case of a flare up in COVID 19 cases. The groundwork has already started to set up dedicated COVID care units at separate locations in all the districts with the provision of isolation beds.” It was disclosed by Mrs. Razia Sultana, Water Supply and Sanitation Minister, Punjab in a press communiqué released here today.

S.A.S NAGAR:'With the easing of the lockdown restrictions and the opening of the public transport system, the buses as well as the bus stands are being made use of in an effective manner to drive home the message of Mission Fateh i.e. to make the common people aware with regard to keeping safe from corona virus by complying with safety precautions laid down by the health department.'' These views were disclosed here today by the GM, Punjab Roadways Karanjit Singh Kaler on the occasion of honouring 100 Mission Fateh Warriors of the department with the badges.

CHANDIGARH:The Punjab School Education Department has intensified the campaign to create awareness among the students and their parents about the covid-19 epidemic through posters. The teachers of primary, middle, high and senior secondary schools are actively involved in this task.

CHANDIGARH:The first plasma therapy has successfully been administered to two COVID-19 positive patients at Government Medical College, Amritsar. It was disclosed here by Medical Education and Research Minister Mr. O P Soni.

S.A.S NAGAR / DERABASSI:The Punjab Government initiated Mission Fateh campaign is being widely publicized throughout the district under the guidance of the Deputy Commissioner Mr. Girish Dayalan. It was as part of these efforts that the 25 publicity vans were flagged off on 14th June from the District Administrative Complex which would spread awareness as well as sensitize people about corona virus and thus be of great help in controlling the pandemic. These views were expressed here today by the SDM Derabassi Mr. Kuldeep Bawa in his office on the occasion of honouring 50 Mission Fateh Warriors for spreading awareness about corona virus. Keeping in view the social distancing norms, only 10 badges were pinned personally.

CHANDIGARH: Calling for extra vigil and strict compliance with all Covid safety protocols, Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh on Saturday announced a month-long `Mission Fateh Warriors’ campaign to reward citizens following all health advisories and norms diligently.

NAWANSHAHR: Under the public awareness campaign 'Mission Fateh' launched by the Punjab government to rid the state of Covid, ground activities would be organised  in the district from June 15 to 21.

ROPAR: The Ropar police has challaned 964 persons for not wearing masks to make Mission Fateh a success.As many as 180 persons were booked for spitting on earth.

CHANDIGARH:  As part of state battle against Covid, the Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh on Tuesday launched 'Mission Fateh' song featuring bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan, Kareena Kapoor, Gurdass Maan and Harbhajan Singh besides a star-studded line up of personalities from sports and punjabi cinema, with  message of resilience, resolve and discipline to defeat the virus and save Punjab.
