CHANDIGARH: Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh on Thursday rolled out a new initiative, involving youth, to take forward the state’s Mission Fateh 2.0 as part of the 'Corona Mukt Punjab Abhiyan' (Covid-free Punjab Campaign), with directions to form groups of seven Rural Corona Volunteers (RCVs) per village or municipal ward as a cadre to fight the pandemic.

CHANDIGARH: Giving a clarion call to make successful Mission Fateh 2.0 under Corona Mukt Pind Abhiyaan launched by the Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh recently, the Chief Secretary, Ms Vini Mahajan, on Saturday asked the Health and all other departments concerned besides the district administrations to pull out all the stops to free the state’s villages of Covid by ramping up the testing, tracing, treatment, vaccination drives, and reaching out to each and every household in the rural areas.

PATIALA: Responding positively to the call given by the District Police, Patiala through local VPOs (Village Police Officers) and SHOs, as many as 398 village panchayats and 70 ward councillors have passed resolutions to join hands with the district administration in their fight against covid. Mobile COVID-19 sampling drive initiated under 'Mission Fateh'

CHANDIGARH: Going ahead with strategy to control the spread of COVID-19, Health department Ludhiana has now initiated a mobile testing drive in the Ludhiana city for which exclusive vans with special teams have been arranged which will test the people at their doorstep in different areas of the city. With introduction of these mobile teams people can get themselves tested right at their doorstep.

PCS officers to donate plasma under mission Fateh

CHANDIGARH: Punjab Civil Services (PCS) Officers Association has passed a resolution that COVID-19 conquerors PCS officers would donate the plasma to boost the recovery of critical patients under Mission Fateh. In a letter  to Punjab Chief Secretary Ms. Vini Mahajan, the association has named the officers, who recovered from the infection and willing to donate the plasma.

Fine of 65.15lakh imposed on 14340 people for not wearing mask under 'MIssion Fateh' by commissionerate police

JALANDHAR:Tightening the noose around the people who were not wearing the masks and violating the directives of Punjab Government, the Jalandhar Commissionerate Police has so far issued 14340 challans to them, under the 'Mission Fateh' initiated by Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh and imposed a fine of Rs 65.15 lakh on willful defaulters.
Divulging the details, the Commissioner of Police Mr. Gurpreet Singh Bhullar said that the Police have so far issued 14940 without mask challans and collected a fine worth Rs 65.15 lakh from the violators.

Under Mission Fateh, Sarb Naujwan Sabha launched a campaign in the villages

PHAGWARA:Under the 'Mission Fateh' launched by the Punjab government to create awareness among the people against the Corona epidemicl. As part of the activities being carried out in the district in collaboration with SDM Phagwara Pavitar Singh, a massive awareness campaign was launched by the Sarb Naujwan Sabha today under the leadership of Sukhwinder Singh, President of the Sabha. Mission Fateh : water supply department sets up isolation centres to cobat covid-19 menace : Razia Sultana

CHANDIGARH:Department of Water Supply and Sanitation has initiated emergency measures to ramp up infrastructure facilities to handle patients, in case of a flare up in COVID 19 cases. The groundwork has already started to set up dedicated COVID care units at separate locations in all the districts with the provision of isolation beds.” It was disclosed by Mrs. Razia Sultana, Water Supply and Sanitation Minister, Punjab in a press communiqué released here today.

Public Transport System proving to be effective to spread message of Mission Fateh
