MP and DC visit each stall, ask students to take benefits of mela
An impressive display of carrier opportunities by Border Security Force (BSF), CRPF and Indian Army in the stalls drew maximum attention of the students during the sixth edition of Spark Career Guidance Mela at Guru Gobind Singh Stadium on Thursday.
The students were seen interacting with the officers of BSF, CRPF and Indian Army and getting valuable information about the various career options in the force.
They got acquainted about various posts from soldier to officer rank by the officials from the defence forces.
The students acquired genuine and accurate information from them.
Member of Parliament Chaudhary Santokh Singh, Deputy commissioner Mr Varinder Kumar Sharma, Police Commissioner Mr Gurpreet Singh Bhullar along with additional deputycommissioners Mr Jasbir Singh, SDM Mr Rahul Sindhu who visited each stall appreciated BSF, CRPF and Indian Army for exhibiting the weapons magnificently and guiding the young minds for options in the force.
They also held talks with the students and said that they should maximum benefits of Mela which aimed at giving wings to the dreams of the students by guiding them about the right Career option.
Meanwhile,  a total of 72 stalls were set up in the spark-6.
