Peaceful, complete bandh in Rupnagar district
RUPNAGAR: A complete and peaceful bandh was observed today in Rupnagar district on the call given by farmer Unions. All business eastablishments remained closed in Rupnagar, Nangal, Morinda, Chamkaur Sahib and Anandpur Sahib.
RUPNAGAR: A complete and peaceful bandh was observed today in Rupnagar district on the call given by farmer Unions. All business eastablishments remained closed in Rupnagar, Nangal, Morinda, Chamkaur Sahib and Anandpur Sahib.
The lawyers boycotted the court work and joined the march taken out in the Rupnagar town. All social and religious organisations joined farmers protest and sat on dharna. Traffic was blocked on Rupnagar-Chandigarh national highway from 11 AM ro 3 PM.
