PHAGWARA: A Ludhiana resident motorcyclist Deepak Kumar was killed on the spot when the motorcycle number PB-10HM-6537 rammed into a stationery truck number UK-08CB-0163 on National High Ways near Phagwara last night.
The motorcyclist was going from Ludhiana to Jalandhar but could not noticed the stationary truck in the dark. The Police have registered a case under section 279, 304A of IPC against the truck driver who managed to escape. The body of the deceased has been handed over to his family members after conducting post-mortem examination conducted in local civil hospital.
