PHAGWARA: The house of newly married couple was reportedly burgled in a street of Gandhi Chowk near City Police Station Phagwara last night.
House Owner Ashutosh Gautam told the police that the burglars entered his shops after breaking locks and took away gold and diamond ornaments including one Diamond Set, one pair of gold karras and cash of Rs Five Lac(accepted as shagans) besides some other valuable goods from the house. The Family members were away at the time of burglary. The Police have registered a case under section 380, 457 IPC in this regard.
