AMRITSAR: Punjab Chief Secretary Mr. K.A.P. Sinha on Sunday paid obeisance at Sri Darbar Sahib and Sri Durgiana Mandir in Amritsar.
After paying obeisance at Sri Darbar Sahib, Chief Secretary Mr. Sinha performed the traditional 'Parikrama' around the holy place. He also listened to the Gurbani Kirtan. After this, he was honoured by the SGPC at the Information Office. After paying obeisance at Sri Durgiana Temple, Mr. Sinha was also honoured by the Mandir Committee.
Chief Secretary Mr. Sinha said that after assuming the responsibility of the new post, he has come to take blessings from 'Guru Ghar' to express his gratitude. He said that almighty God has blessed him to serve the people of Punjab with sincerity and dedication.
On this occasion, Deputy Commissioner Amritsar Sakshi Sahni, SDM Mankanwal Singh Chahal and DCP Harpreet Singh Mander were also present.
