Rayat Bahra University Organized Career Counseling Session for school students

MOHALI: Rayat Bahra University organized a career counseling session aimed at guiding young minds towards informed career decisions. The session was hosted by the RBU 10+2 School Wing Principal, Mrs. Meena Verma. It brought together students, parents, and education professionals to explore career opportunities in today's rapidly changing job market.

Recognizing the challenges faced by students and parents after Class X in selecting the right stream for Class XI, the university took the initiative to offer valuable guidance. The goal was to equip students with the tools and information necessary to make confident, well-informed career choices.

Mr. Pankaj Sharma, an expert in career counseling and education management, was the keynote speaker. He highlighted emerging trends, in-demand skills, and the importance of aligning career goals with individual strengths and interests. Around 300 students from nearby high schools participated in the session and gained valuable insights into their future plans.

The session concluded with an interactive Q&A segment, leaving students motivated and better prepared to navigate their career paths. Participants appreciated the university’s commitment to supporting students through such initiatives, making the event a resounding success. RBU Chancellor Gurvinder Singh Bahra and Vice-Chancellor Dr Parvinder Singh appreciated the initiative in organizing the workshop.
