Car driver booked for death by negligence
NAKODAR: The Nakodar city police have booked a car driver on the charge of causing death by negligence.The Investigating Officer (IO) Balwindar Singh said that the accused has been identified as a resident of Mahunwal village.

Anita wife of Tobius Kajur a resident of Bandala village under Lambara police station complained to the police that the accused was driving his car very fast and negligently and hit his brother-in-law Polis Tiraki’s motorcycle on the Nakodar- Jalandhar road near a school resulting in the death of Tiraki
The Investigating officer said that a case under sections 304-A (causing death by negligence) 279 (rash driving on a public road) and 427(mischief) of the IPC has been registered against car driver.
