Woman among four booked for assault

NAKODAR:The Nakodar sadar police have booked four persons including a woman on the charge of assaulting a villager.
The investigating officer (IO) and Uggi police post in-charge Sarabjit Singh said that the accused have been identified as Darsho wife of Thakur a resident of Rahim Pur village, his sons Kaka and Aman and one Rajan .

Deba a resident of the same village complained to the police that the accused waylaid and seriously injured and threatened him.

IO said a case under sections 323,324(voluntarily causing hurt with dangerous weapons or means) 341(wrongful restraint) 506(criminal intimidation) and 34(committing crime with common intention) of the IPC has been registered against the accused.

The Nakodar city police booked three members of a family including woman residents of Mallarri village for assaulting Parmindar Singh and his wife resident of the same village said IO Gurdial Singh.
