Villager arrested for illegal sand mining
NAKODAR: The Mehat Pur police have arrested a villager onthe charge of illegal sand mining.

The investigating officer (IO) Sarabjit Singh said that the accused
has been identified as Sunny a resident of Shahpur village.
IO said that the accused was carrying sand mined illegally and
without any documents and a case
under section 21 of the Punjab Mining act and section 379 (theft ) and
411(dishonestly receiving stolen property) of the IPC has been
registered against the
accused that was released on bail. The tractor trolley has been impounded
