Unidentified booked for murdering migrant

PHAGWARA:One Bihari migrant was found murdered with
sharp-edged weapons in Village Jamit Khosa near Nakodar yesterday.
The Station House Officer (SHO) Bisman Singh said that the deceased
has been identified as Ram Bilas Rishi a native of Bihar state and
presently living at Jamit Garh Khosa village.
SHO said he received an information on Monday morning about the crime
and reached the village where the body of the deceased was lying in a
pool of blood with sharp cut marks on his neck in the mansion of
Udham Singh and there was nobody present on the occasion
SHO said the police informed Vinod about the death of his close
relative who was identified as Rishi.
Vinod said in his statement to the police that his Co-Brother
(husband of wife’s sister) was living in Khosa village with his
children and family members and there were often quarrels between the
deceased and his family.
He said in his statement that his Sandhu was murdered by someone from
his family and the accused should be verified and legal action should
be taken against him.
SHO said that a case under section 302(murder) of the Indian Penal
Code has been registered against the unidentified accused and further
investigations are on.
