Five including three women booked for kidnapping minor
SHAHKOT: The Shahkot police have booked five persons including three women on the charge of kidnapping a minor.The investigating officer (IO) Harbhajan Lal said that the accused have been identified as Manjit alias Monu a resident of Rishi Nagar Shahkot, his wife Meenu , sons Rahul alias Kalu and Goli and Kiarn wife of Laddi a resident of the same locality.

Munish Kumar a resident of the same locality complained to the police that the Rahul alias Kalu kidnapped her minor daughter by inducing her.
IO said that a case under sections 363 (kidnapping) and366 (kidnapping woman to compel her marriage) of the IPC has been registered against the accused and further investigation is on.
