Couple killed in road mishap
SHAHKOT: A Motorcyclist couple was killed in a collision between a motorcycle and a Zeep near Malsian on Wednesday. Shahkot SHO Surinder Kumar said the deceased couple was identified as Dr Kishan Singh and his pillion rider wife Paramjit Kaur residents of Village Barrah Jagir. SHO said that the deceased couple was going to their native village on their bike no PB_8CZ-4509 when a speeding Zeep hit their bike on a turn.

The Zeep Driver Balbir Singh managed to escape leaving his Zeep behind. The police have registered a case against the Zeep Driver and sent the bodies to Nakodar Civil Hospital for Post-Mortem examination.
