Truck driver identified for causing obstruction in public way

NAKODAR : Nakodar city police have identified a truck driver on the charge of causing obstruction in a public way and endangering human life.

The investigating officer Mangat Gupta said that the accused has been identified as Naseeb Singh son of Jasmail Singh a resident of Mian Singh Wala village in Feroze Pur.

Sukhraj Singh a resident of Nangal Jiwan village has complained to the police that the accused parked his truck (PB-13-BL-9383) on the left side on the main highway on October 2 night without lights, dipper and reflectors and his brother Sukh Mandeep Singh ‘s car (PB-10-EQ-2920) collided with it, and he was seriously injured.

The investigating officer Mangat Gupta said that a case under sections 283(causing danger or obstruction in public way) ,336(endangering human life) 337,338(cause grievous hurt by act endangering life or personal safety of others.) and 427(mischief) of the IPC was registered against the accused who was arrested and released on bail.
