MOHALI: In an effort to relive the innocent joys and cherished memories of childhood, and to create awareness against excessive use of mobile phones and digital platforms, Rayat Bahra University hosted an event titled 'Bachpan Ke Din.'
Students and faculty members assembled on the campus to take a nostalgic journey down the memory lane of childhood days through a variety of interactive games, cultural performances, and creative activities.
The event included activities reminiscent of school days, such as sack race, lemon and spoon race, three-legged race, musical chair and many more. The campus transformed into a lively space with colorful decorations, evoking a playful and carefree atmosphere that encouraged all attendees to let loose and celebrate their inner child.
Chancellor Gurvinder Singh Bahra praised both the students and the staff. "In today’s fast-paced world, 'Bachpan KeDin' has given us a wonderful opportunity to reconnect with our roots and relive the moments that shaped us, " he remarked.
In addition to fun activities, the event encouraged community and camaraderie among students and faculty, fostering a sense of unity.
With smiles, laughter, and heartfelt nostalgia filling the campus, 'Bachpan Ke Din' concluded as an unforgettable experience for all, reminding everyone of the importance of cherishing the simple joys in life.
