MOHALI: Chandigarh Group of Colleges Jhanjeri’s Chandigarh Law College hosted International Conference on Cyber Threats: Navigating Legal Challenges in the Digital Age. The Chief Guest at the moment was Justice Rakesh Kumar Garg, former Judge of the Punjab and Haryana High Court and Chairman of the NRI Commission of Punjab, whose insightful address underscored the gravity of safeguarding justice in the digital era.
Keynote Speaker at the moment was Dr. Sagee Geetha Sethu, Head of Law and Program Leader at Amity Law School UAE, Dubai. He shared his vision on the international challenges posed by cyber threats.
Later, the panel discussion was graced by the panel of distinguished experts of Cyber Law Justice Talwant Singh, former judge, Delhi High Court, Neeraja Vorovurru, Additional Director General of Police, Cyber Branch, Punjab and Advocate Prianshu Kamra, Punjab and Haryana High Court.
The valedictory session was graced by the presence of Justice Harkesh Manuja , Judge, Punjab and Haryana High Court. Justice Manuja has thrown the light on cyber threats and its safeguarding measures.
Five technical sessions were chaired by eminent academicians from across South Asia by Dr. Syed Sarafarass from Bangladesh, Dr. Priya Sepaha, Dean of the School of Law, Avantika University, Ujjain, Dr. Vandana, Chairperson, School of Law, Panjab University, Chandigarh, Dr. Monika Ahuja from Punjabi University, Patiala, andDr. Niti Nitin Pandey, Principal of Madhav Law College, Gwalior.
Managing Director Arsh Dhaliwal said at the moment that these thought-provoking sessions delved into cutting-edge issues, with speakers and participants collaborating to explore legal frameworks and proactive strategies essential in combating cybercrime.
