MOHALI: Rayat Bahra University, a leading educational institution committed to academic excellence, has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Niagara University (Canada) to facilitate academic collaboration and enrich the educational experience for undergraduate postgraduate students specializing in Management and Engineering program.
Dr Parvinder Singh, Vice-Chancellor of RBU, signed the pact on behalf of Rayat Bahra University and Rev James Maher, President, and Dr Duleep C Deosthale, Vice-President, International Relation, Niagara University signed on behalf of Niagara University.
Gurvinder Singh Bahra, Chancellor of Rayat Bahra University, Gurinder Singh Bahra Vice president and Dr Dinesh Sharma, Registrar RBU, were also present at the signing ceremony.
Under this innovative agreement, students pursuing Engineering and Management programs will have the unique opportunity to spend two years of their academic journey at Rayat Bahra University and the remaining duration at Niagara University Canada.
Gurvinder Singh Bahra, Chairman of the Rayat Bahra Group, expressed his enthusiasm about the collaboration, stating, "This partnership marks a significant milestone in our commitment to providing our students with global exposure and opportunities. By combining the strengths of Rayat Bahra University and Niagara University, students will receive maximum benefits from this program."
He said that the courses offered included B Tech, M Tech, BCA, MCA, BBA and MBA.
Rev James Maher said the collaboration is expected to open new horizons for students, fostering cross-cultural understanding and preparing them for the global workforce.
