MOHALI: Rayat Bahra University hosted its 5th International Students Convocation to celebrate the achievements of international students studying at Rayat Bahra university. Students from Management, Engineering, Allied Health Sciences, and Social Sciences etc received their degrees.
The convocation witnessed the presence of Chancellor Gurvinder Singh Bahra, Vice-Chancellor Dr Parvinder Singh, Vice-President Dr Satbir Sehgal, Registrar Dr Dinesh Sharma, Dean Academic Affairs Dr Satish Kumar Bansal, Dean Students Welfare Dr Simerjit Kaur, Controller of Examination, Er. Abhinav Tripathi and other dignitaries during the academic procession.
The foreign students spoke online about their experiences, emotions, and connection with the university. They stated that they wanted to be in touch with their alma mater no matter where they travelled.
Chancellor Gurvinder Singh Bahra, who was Chief Guest, awarded degrees to graduates.
He said that the university is proud of these foreign students who chose to pursue careers at Rayat Bahra University. Additionally, he emphasised the importance of developing pupils into well-rounded, socially, psychologically, and behaviourally competent individuals who can compete globally.
Vice-Chancellor Dr Parvinder Singh said the university has achieved cultural concord thanks to the vast diversity of its foreign student body. The main characteristics of the institution that make it a suitable learning environment for international students are employability, cultural diversity, holistic growth, and practical learning said Dr parvinder singh
Dr Simerjit Kaur, Dean Students Welfare, stated that RBU has given its graduating students a strong academic and values-based foundation that would enable them to sustain the virtues of humility, honesty, and empathy.
The graduates received congratulations from Abhinav Tripathi, Controller of Examinations who also wished them luck in their future endeavors. Suhel, Director International, extended his best wishes for their continued success.
