MOHALI: The Rayat Bahra Group has signed an agreement with Thomas More University, USA, offering innovative educational programs in Allied Health Science and Management. This partnership introduces a 2+2 undergraduate program and a 1+1 postgraduate program, alongside a Faculty Exchange Program, to enhance academic opportunities and global exposure for students and faculty.
The memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed under the leadership of Gurvinder Singh Bahra, Chairman of Rayat Bahra Group, and Gurinder Singh Bahra, Vice-Chairman of Rayat Bahra Group. The signing ceremony was attended by Dr Dinesh Sharma, Registrar of Rayat Bahra university, and Joseph L Chillo, President, along with Dr Justin Vogel, Dean of Thomas More University. Dr Satbir Sehgal, Vice President of Rayat Bahra Group, and Dr Parvinder Singh, Vice-Chancellor of Rayat Bahra University, were also present on the occasion.
The collaboration aims to provide students with an enriching academic experience through the 2+2 undergraduate program, where students will complete two years of their studies at Rayat Bahra Group and the remaining two years at Thomas More University. The 1+1 postgraduate program will allow students to pursue one year of study at each institution.
In addition to the student exchange programs, a Faculty Exchange Program will be established to promote academic excellence and cross-cultural learning.
During the signing ceremony, interactions took place with Gurmukh Rana, Head of International Collaborations, Rayat Bahra Group and Dr Simerjit kaur , Director of International Affairs, Rayat Bahra University. Pawan Srivastava, President, and Deepak Tyagi, Director of Aura Education, were also present.
Gurvinder Singh Bahra expressed his enthusiasm for the collaboration and said this partnership with Thomas More University marks a significant milestone in our mission to provide world-class education and global opportunities for our students.
