Inter-Khalsa Schools’ Cultural Fest-2024 Held at KCPS

AMRITSAR: A day-long Inter-Khalsa Cultural Festival-2024 was held at Khalsa College Public School, GT Road here today. Hundreds of students from five Khalsa Schools participated in various cultural events and earned prizes.

Chief Guest, Khalsa University Pro-Chancellor and KCGC honourary secretary Rajinder Mohan Singh Chhina who distributed the awards at the closing ceremony emphasized that the students must concentrate on extra-curricular activities apart from academics. He said every child has hidden qualities and such competitions help them to showcase their prowess in different arenas.

He said that the aim of the management is to provide students with a quality education to achieve their ultimate goal in life and also to ensharpen the overall personality of the children through such activities.

All the schools under Khalsa College Management including Khalsa College Sen. Sec. School (Boys), Khalsa College Public School, Heir, Khalsa College Girls Sen. Sec. and Khalsa College International Public School, Ranjit Avenue, participated in this fest with great zeal and enthusiasm.

The participants competed for various competitions including Shabad recitation, Folk Dance, Folk Songs, Bhangra, Gidda, Poetry, Declamation contests. Principal Amarjit Singh Gill earlier welcomed the guests and asked them to imbibe in the students the spirit of self-confidence.

The Joint Secretary SS Sethi, principals staff members of other schools were present on this occasion.
