All the injured were taken to the District Civil Hospital for treatment. Those who died include Kasturi Lal Garg, a resident of Cheeka, about 60 years old, and Mahila Shiksha Devi. The seriously injured were referred to Chandigarh for treatment. When they were returning from Pushkar and Khatu Shyam after darshan, at around 1:30 in the night, an unknown container truck had parked its vehicle on the wrong side near village Kharak Pandawa. Due to dense fog, the cruiser driver could not see the truck and the cruiser collided directly with the container. All the passengers and the driver suffered major injuries in the accident. Dial 112 was called on the spot and all the passengers were admitted to Civil Hospital Kaithal through ambulance. The police is investigating the entire matter.
