CHANDIGARH: The trends in Haryana assembly elections have given lead to BJP whereas the exit polls have given lead to Congress party. The BJP is leading on 48 seats and Congress on 35 seats.
The exit polls had given Congress average 48 to 56 seats and BJP only 28 to 34 seats. The Congress leaders have described the trends misleading. The Congress alleged tat election officers are under pressure and trends are not being shown in EC website.
Congress party still believes they will form the government because there are about 20 seats where Congress is trailing with less than 1000 votes.
If BJP wins the election it will be history of forming a government for the third time.
