KAITHAL: The Kaithal and Kurukshetra police have busted an illegal gender testing gang during joint action. An accused in the case has been arrested with an ultrasound machine and 30 thousand rupees in cash.
The accused has been identified as Rishipal, a resident of village Manas. The police were constantly receiving complaints that a person named Rishipal illegally investigates pregnant women in various villages. The accused works by installing ultrasound machines at different places. He used to take 30 to 40 thousand rupees per investigation. As soon as the information was received, the team reached the village Manas and arrested the accused.
Earlier, the police sent a pregnant woman to the accused by making fake customers. When the accused tried to give information about the gender after ultrasound test , to the woman, the police team caught the accused on the spot. According to information earlier the accused had been arrested in a similar case in the year 2016. The villagers present on the spot also told that the accused had started to give advice to the villagers as astrologer and advice as tantric to people in the village.
