Raman Nehra Appointed as Executive Member of BJP Punjab NGO Cell

PHAGWARA: Raman Nehra, a well-known social worker from Phagwara, has been appointed as the Executive Member of the State NGO Cell of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Punjab. The appointment was formally announced during a party event in Ludhiana, where State Convener of the BJP NGO Cell, Manjinder Singh, presented Nehra with the official appointment letter.

Speaking on the occasion, Manjinder Singh stated that the NGO Cell aims to strengthen collaboration with grassroots organizations through efficient use of central government schemes, with a focus on public welfare. He expressed confidence in Nehra’s ability to fulfill his responsibilities with integrity and dedication, in line with the expectations and discipline of the party. Singh added that Nehra’s efforts would play a crucial role in expanding the party’s outreach among various sections of society.

Raman Nehra expressed gratitude to Manjinder Singh and the party leadership for the trust placed in him. He affirmed his commitment to serving society with sincerity and working actively to enhance the effectiveness of NGOs in the designated sectors.

It is noteworthy that Nehra has long been associated with several social organizations. He currently serves as the General Secretary of the Khatri Mahasabha Punjab and the State President of the Human Rights Council India (Anti-Corruption Cell). He also holds the position of District President (Kapurthala) of the Vishwa Hindu Sangh. His active involvement in community service has earned him recognition and respect across different segments of society.
