PHAGWARA: Congress Party won the Municipal Corporation and captured MC now as per results declared here today. Congress Party remained winner in 22 seats out of total 50 wards, AAP got 12 seats, BJP could win only 4 seats, Bahujan Samaj Party got 3, Shiromani Akali Dal got 3 seats while independent candidates remained winners at 6 seats. Total 55.6 percent votes were polled.
Independent Couple Davinder Sapra and his wife Rupali Sapra remained winners from both wards 12, 13 as none of the Congress, BJP, SAD, BSP did not fielded any candidate.
