AMRITSAR: The decisive war launched by the Punjab government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann against drug trafficking will yield positive results and drugs will be completely eradicated from the state.
Expressing these words, Punjab Power and Public Works Minister Harbhajan Singh ETO said that a large number of people are leaving their traditional parties and joining AAP, happy with the policies of the government.
He said that today hundreds of Akali workers have joined AAP in village Gandli of Jandiala Guru constituency.
While honoring the workers who joined, he said that they will be given full respect and dignity in the party.
Cabinet Minister Harbhajan Singh ETO said that the state government has given a clear and strong warning to those involved in drug trafficking to either leave the state or completely stop their illegal activities.
He said that this warning has come as part of the concrete steps being taken by the Punjab government to deal with the menace of drugs to ensure a safe and healthy environment for its citizens.
He said that people in Punjab will not turn their backs on the opposition parties, because people have seen in the last 70 years that they have only fed their families and looted Punjab, while the AAP party has provided free electricity, free bus facilities and employment to more than 50 thousand youth during its three-year tenure.
He said that in Jandiala constituency, people are leaving the opposition parties and joining our party, happy with the policies of the Aam Aadmi Parties. He said that for the first time in Indian history, Aam Aadmi Party has provided basic facilities to the people of Punjab in the first year of its rule, such as 600 units of free electricity, free bus facility, more than 50 thousand government jobs, free ration facility.
ETO said that I am indebted to the people of Jandiala Guru who have given me such respect. He said that no stone will be left unturned in the development of Jandiala constituency.
He said that today former block samiti member of village Gandli Nishan Singh, former sarpanch Kulwinder Singh, Lakhwinder Singh, Sarabjit Singh Dodhi, panchayat member Dr. Parminder Singh, Subedar Jagmohan Singh, Amrik Singh, former member Piara Singh, Malkit Singh, Gurbachan Singh, Prabhjit Singh, Kulwinder Singh, Sarpanch Mukhtiar Singh, member Panchayat Hardev Singh, Tarsem Singh, Lakhwinder Singh, Kulwant Singh, Secretary Mukhtiar Singh, along with many other families have left the Akali Dal and joined the Aam Aadmi Party and all of them will be given full respect and honour in the party. He said that the party has become stronger with their joining the party.
