AAP MLA Gurlal Singh Ghanaur denies his involvement in theft
PATIALA: The Police has recovered three tractor-trolleys stolen from Shambhu border after the police action on protesting farmers. The police found the trolleys parked in a workshop owned by Ramandip Singh at village Loh Sambli in Patiala district.

In a video posted on social media the farmers had blamed AAP MLA Gurlal Sigh Ghanaur for the theft. Ghanaur however denied his involvement in the theft. He said that he had no connection with the person from whose workshop trolleys were recovered. He asked the police to take action according to law. Police has registered a case against Ramandip Singh who is absconding.

Ghanuar was also accused for helping police in dismantling the Khanuari Morcha. Youth Akali Dal president Sarabjit Singh Jhinjer had on March 20 in a statement alleged that Gurlal Ghanaur had sent tractors and his men to the Khanauri border to destabilize the Kisan Morcha. His tractors were used by the police to destroy tents and haul away the trolleys of our farmers.” He added that “It’s highly shameful that MLA Gurlal Ghanaur has betrayed the very farmers who helped him become an MLA. We used to respect him as a Kabaddi player".
