Workshop on moral values at Khalsa College Education

AMRITSAR: A day-long workshop on moral values and teaching was organized at Khalsa College of Education (KCE) in collaboration of Khalsa University and Jagat Punjabi Sabha, Canada.

KU Registrar Dr. Khushwinder Kumar welcomed the Chairman of the Sabha Ajaib Singh Chatha by presenting a bouquet. His arrivalbat thr campud. He said ethics are a phenomenon, by adopting which a person can spend his life in a proper and value induced manner.

On this occasion Dr. Kumar emphasized on the importance of ethics in today's fast-paced technological era and said that ethics is not a single line, but multi-faceted and only through moral values can a person live a happy life. He said that as teachers, we have a special responsibility to be the torch-bearers of ethics in our lives and our education system must focus on teaching the students high moral values along with formal education.

About 70 teachers teaching in different schools of Punjab participated in this program conducted under the able leadership of Assistant Prof. Dr. Maninder Kaur of the College. He was inspired to create an understanding of the correct methods of life investigation and sound decision-making, after which Sharanjit Kaur and Satinder Kaur Kahlo presented their views. On this occasion, Dr. Kumar along with the Vice Principal Dr. Harpreet Kaur honored the guests by presenting mementos. In this program, members of the council Harkirat Kaur, Manpreet Kaur, Balwinder Kaur Chatha specially participated.
