AMRITSAR: The 'request' card showing the great martyrdom of the four Sahibzades and Mata Gujar Kaur Ji for the protection of the oppressed, religion and the whole nation of Dasam Pita Sahib Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji , Honorary Secretary of Khalsa College Governing Council Mr. Rajinder Mohan Singh Released the card.
This card was distributed by Kalgidhar father from 21st to 27th December with the purpose of informing the students about the sacrifice of Mata Guzri and four Sahibzades in one week so that they can be aware about the golden Sikh history.
On this occasion, Mr. Chhina informed that cards have been sent to more than 22000 students and staff of all educational institutions under the council.
He said that the sacrifice and great martyrdom given by the 'Nickian Jinda Bade Sake' of the younger Sahibzades by sticking to religion is an example in the history of the world.
Chhina mentioned about the 'Benti' card and said that the Mughal government of the time had earned great fury by enmity with the King Dervish Sahib Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji on December 1704 AD. Therefore, the days from 6th to 13th day of December have special recognition in history.
On the 8th of Poh, Sahib Ajit Singh Ji and Jujhar Singh Ji, the great Sahibzades of Satgurs, were martyred in the battle of Chamkaur. On 13th Poh, Baba Zorawar Singh Ji and Baba Fateh Singh Ji, the younger Sahibzade of the Satgurs, were martyred at Sirhind. This year these days are being celebrated from 21 to 28 December. These tragedy are also painful, there is also sadness, there are tears, there is self-respect and there is also a lesson to live life with dignity.
He appealed to the whole community who love the spirit of Guru Nanak's house for the good of all, from all the educational institutions, and said that they should meditate on this glorious history in these days, read Bani, meditate and do good deeds for world peace. to pray He said that Gurdwara Fatehgarh Sahib is decorated at the place where the small Sahibzades were buried by the state of Sirhind. Where in memory of his Lasani martyrdom, Martyrdom Day is observed on a large scale for 3 days every year.
