MOHALI: Rayat Bahra Dental College & Hospital (RBDCH) celebrated National Dentist Day with enthusiasm, creativity and community spirit. The event brought together students, faculty and HODs from all departments.
The celebration was a perfect fusion of creativity and awareness, leaving a lasting impact on all attendees. The event successfully highlighted the importance of oral health while celebrating the talent and passion of the students and faculty.
As part of the celebrations, RBDCH organised a special guest lecture on Stress Management by Dr Kamini Sharma, an esteemed psychologist specialising in stress management and mental well-being.
Dr Kamini provided valuable insights into managing stress in professional and personal life, particularly in high-pressure fields like dentistry. Her engaging session emphasised mindfulness, self-care and resilience, empowering students and faculty alike. The lecture was met with enthusiasm, reinforcing the importance of mental health awareness in the dental profession.
Gurvinder Singh Bahra, Chairman of Rayat Bahra Group of Institutions, applauded RBDCH team and students for their outstanding creativity, enthusiasm and dedication in making the day special.
He complimented Dr Akshay Sharma, Principal, RBDCH, Dr Neena Mehta, Dean (Academics) RBDCH, and Dr Mandeep Kumar, Vice-Principal of RBDCH, for their efforts in making this event successful.
A special exhibition was organised to showcase posters promoting oral health awareness, artistic stone paintings highlighting dental problems, and innovative 2D & 3D models demonstrating dental health issues and solutions
Dr Surya Udai Singh captivated everyone with his soulful rendition of old classic melodies. His surprise performance added a nostalgic and memorable touch to the celebration.
