MOHALI: Chandigarh Group of Colleges Mohali organized CreatiVelo 2024, dedicated to nurture creativity, innovation, and sustainability. The event saw the enthusiastic participation of over 400 students from 12 prestigious universities, provided a vibrant platform for showcasing ingenuity and addressing critical global challenges such as SDG 1 (No Poverty), SDG 5 (Gender Equality), and SDG 13 (Climate Action).
The event featured 44 Action Teams and 28 campaigns, collectively engaging over 30, 000 individuals and emphasizing the power of youth-driven solutions. Through creative micro-donation campaigns, participants brought awareness to pivotal issues, demonstrating their commitment to fostering a sustainable future.
A significant highlight of the event was the active involvement of industry visionaries, who inspired participants with their insights and expertise. Students benefited from hands-on problem-solving opportunities and expanded their professional networks, preparing themselves for leadership roles in a rapidly evolving global landscape.
The Managing Director of CGC Mohali, Arsh Dhaliwal informed at the moment that CGC Mohali emerged as a hub for experiential learning, where students collaborated on innovative solutions to real-world problems. Participants refined their creativity, leadership, and teamwork skills, while engaging directly with industry leaders and exploring entrepreneurial opportunities.
