Amritsar DC gives three days time to internet and cable operators to wrap up the scattered wires

AMRITSAR: Deputy Commissioner of Amritsar Mrs. Sakshi Sahni systematically removed the wires hanging randomly from electricity, telephone poles and other means in the markets, roads and streets of Amritsar city, most of which belong to cable operators and companies providing mobile internet.

Three days have been given for this. In this regard, in a meeting called in his office today, the Deputy Commissioner, while instructing the managers of the said companies, said that the arrangements made by you to provide the service may harm the life and property of the common people .

Apart from this, the scattering of these wires is also affecting the beauty of the city . She said that in such a situation it is important that you get your wires, meters and boosters in order. Mrs. Sakshi Sahni also asked BSNL and PSPCL officials to inspect their wires and poles so that improvements can be made wherever needed.
