Admission in sports wings on 12th February

PHAGWARA: The selection trial in the sports wings of the state for the year of 2021-22 will be held on February 12 at Guru Nanak Stadium, Kapurthala for Athletics, Basketball and Kabaddi. The boxing arena will be at Phagwara and the boxing will be at Lord Mahavira Jain Public School, Phagwara.

District Sports Officer said that the player should be born on or after January 1, 2008 for U-14, January 1, 2005 for U-17 and January 1, 2003 for U-19. The player should be medically and physically fit and should have secured one of the top 3 positions in the district level competitions or participated in the state level competitions.

He also clarified that the player should belong only to District Kapurthala. He said that the Eligible candidates should report to the committee at the trial venue on February 12 at 8 am. Admission forms can be obtained free of charge on the spot at the trial venue.

He said the Participants should bring 2 recent photographs along with their birth, Aadhaar card, original certificate of sports achievement and their copies. He also said that there was no TA to be present in the trials. Or D.A. Will not be given.
