Family members suspect murder
KAITHAL: There was a sensation in the area when the dead body of a young man was found on the roadside on Khurana Road here today. His motorcycle was also lying near the dead body. The deceased has been identified as Zora Singh (37), resident of village Malikpur.

The deceased used to work as a driver for a liquor contractor in Kaithal. While the relatives of the deceased are calling it not an accident but murder, the police is considering it an accident. Family members allege that Zora Singh was receiving death threats for the last several days due to which he was very worried. liquor businessman, told that Zora Singh was having a rivalry with some people from Aleva village of Jind district. He was receiving death threats for the last two-three days. Zora Singh was going to his home from the vend on Saturday night. In the morning, he came to know that his body was lying on the roadside on Khurana Road. After receiving the information they reached the spot. The family members of deceased Zora Singh told that he used to come home from work every day by 8-9 pm but he did not come home on Saturday night.
They thought that perhaps Jora Singh might have stayed there due to excess work. The police called kin of the deceased and informed them about the incident. When the family members reached the spot, they found Zora Singh lying dead along with his motorcycle at some distance from the road. There were no deep wounds on his body nor was his motorcycle broken anywhere due to the accident. They suspect that someone has murdered Zora Singh. The investigating officer of the police station, who reached the spot, said that at around 10 in the morning he had received information that an accident had taken place on Khurana Road. They reached the spot and called the forensic team to the spot. The body has been sent to the civil hospital for post-mortem.
