AMRITSAR: The death anniversary of the martyrs of the Sikh community, Bhai Harjinder Singh Jinda and Bhai Sukhdev Singh Sukha, was observed here today by the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee at Gurdwara Jhanda Bunga Sahib located in Sri Darbar Sahib complex.
On this occasion, after the Bhog of Sri Akhand Path Sahib, Ragi Bhai Baldev Singh, Ragi of Sachkhand Sri Harmandir Sahib, performed Gurbani Kirtan, Ardas Bhai Prem Singh offered and the holy order was given by Granthi Singh Sahib of Sachkhand Sri Harimandar Sahib, Giani Rajdeep Singh.
On this occasion, Giani Rajdeep Singh said that Bhai Harjinder Singh Jinda and Bhai Sukhdev Singh Sukha are national martyrs, who attained martyrdom for the sake of the nation.
He said that the nation always worships the martyrdom given by these Singhs for the sake of national spirit. .
Bhai Bhupinder Singh, Bibi Kulwant Kaur, Bhai Satwant Singh were present among the family members of the martyrs on the occasion of the bhog of Sri Akhand Path Sahib, who were given Guru Bakshish Siropao by the Shiromani Committee.
